Please join us for our second annual fundraising cocktail reception at Long Island’s Premiere Gold Coast venue, Oheka Castle. We will be raising funds for educational materials to help students in Guyana pursue careers in STEM fields.
HOW WE HELP
Materials for Learning
Many STEM educational materials are not available to students. We collaborate with the Headmistress, science and math teachers to individually meet the needs of each school. Our fundraising efforts help purchase and provide each school with human anatomy models, chemistry and physics lab materials, sketch pads and laptop computers with CAD functions.
Continuing Education for Teachers
Our goal is to create bespoke continuing education programs to address the needs of teachers and their student communities. From training on the latest technology to new pedagogical methods, we help teachers make their classrooms engaging and successful.
Support for Communities
Education and inspiration happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach looks to extend beyond the school to equip students with the necessary tools.
